Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version

This website has no forms, accounts, or database, so it does not ask you for personal information. Two things are still recorded automatically: analytics (section 2) and standard server logs, which include IP addresses (section 3). There are no accounts, no contact forms, and no databases holding your data. The only data collection on this site is pseudonymous, event-level visitor analytics through Google Analytics, described below.

2. Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects:

• Approximate location (city/region, derived from your IP address)
• Device and browser type
• Pages visited and time spent on them
• How you arrived at the site (search engine, link, or a QR code on our printed materials)

We use this to understand which content is useful and how people find the site — for example, whether a visit came from a door hanger or a business card. We do not use this data to identify you, and we never sell it or share it for advertising.

Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings — the site works fully without them.

3. Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Render) keeps standard web-server access logs — IP address, timestamp, and the page requested — for security and reliability. These logs are retained per Render's standard schedule and are not used for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services You May Choose to Use

Booking a session happens on Calendly, and tutoring reviews are hosted on Wyzant. When you follow those links you leave this site, and any information you enter there (such as your name and email when booking) is governed by their privacy policies — not this one. Fonts are served from this site’s own server, so no third party receives your IP address for fonts. Google does receive it when Analytics loads — see section 2.

5. Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics cookies (names beginning with _ga). There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no social-media embeds. Blocking these cookies does not affect any site functionality.

6. Children

This website is directed at parents and adult learners, not children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Questions or Requests

If you have a question about this policy, or want to ask about data connected to your visits, email [email protected] or call or text (904) 325-6536. Email is preferred for anything you want a written record of.

Writing to that address means we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message. Those messages stay in the business email account, are never added to a marketing list, and are not shared with anyone else.

8. Changes to This Policy

If our data practices change — for example, if we ever add a contact form — this policy will be updated first, and the effective date above will reflect the revision.
